It's what you expect. There's many Pizza shops in the area -- Zio's is a decent option for ordering online (discount) and picking up at the scheduled time for your party. It's a basic pizza, nothing incredible but nothing embarassing (imo)

Always fresh and ready quickly, Zio's is an institution in Midtown! Their margarita thin square slices are the best they've got but I think they only have them Thursdays.

I Asked them For a well done pizza and they took this to perfection, and the prices are not insane. It did took a lil extra but I asked for a toasted pizza so, no complaints..

Great pizza. I like the crust which is a bit thicker than NY style and has a good chew to it. Staff is always friendly and other items are equally good.

Love this place, and honesty embarrassing how many pizza slices I get. Drinks They do not have alcoholic beverages, just your regular, lemonade, sodas, water, etc. Server You don't have a server, just people who are at the counter to take your pizza order and payment. They will call your name to get your order. Price The price is a little expensive, for one slice of pizza it's around $5.40. Everything else is pretty fairly priced of strombolis, salads, pies of pizzas, etc. Wait Time There isn't any super long lines, may wait like 3 minutes to order and like 8 minutes for your pizza Parking ehh this is the tricky part, it is right in center city, and it is one of the most difficult areas in Philly to get a parking in. It is primarily on street parking and parking garages. So i only go here when I am already in the city for other things, other than that I always deliver the pizza to me. Restrooms Private, basic bathroom. Decor/Music Nothing fancy, but a cute mom/pop style pizza shop. Accessibility The door is an average size. and there are no steps.

A welcoming place that whips up very good pizzas, calzones and cheesesteaks for reasonable prices. It's laid back and casual, no pretense. There's enough of that downtown. But if you want tasty meals away from the tourist hub bub, go for Zio's. I really recommend the Sicilian pepperoni by the slice, the Italian calzone is awesome, and the cheesesteak Royal bursts out with layers of flavor. Awesome value!
